Deadpool Boot Camp

Marvel War of Heroes newest event Deadpool Bootcamp is the same as the other raid events so you could just as easily read those posts for a lot of the information and it will still be the same. That information being:

1) If you want to rank well you need raider cards, the higher the rarity the better.
2) Loaning out raid cards to friends when you sleep and them loaning them to you are both great ways to maximize points while minimizing cost.
3) Some people will let you rent theirs if you have collateral. (I still recommend only using people you know because your collateral is worth far more after the event)
4) Be highly active but passive for the first half (attack but don't use RDS/PP)
5) Use all your stored RDS/PP for enraged bosses

Group Raiding

Those are the cliff notes. But this time I'm going to talk about something that not a lot of people do. Group sharing/questing. This is a great way for lower level Alliances to do well.

During Shield Training people are able to coordinate so several are on at once but during Raid Events it very much becomes an every man for themselves attitude. I'm not saying this is wrong, the requirement of Raider cards makes it being a group activity tough. But it's not impossible.

Attacking other peoples raid bosses gives you a damage bonus, and every little bit helps. If you reasonably got 10-20 Alliance members on simultaneously when enraged bosses were popping up and did some power summoning of bosses you could give yourselves quite a bonus.

The way it would work is you attack only your enraged bosses. Attack them once then share. If everybody does this once, not only will you get a damage bonus for enraged but you will also get one for supporting a friend. With everybody doing it, everybody would benefit. It also would turn a boring solo grind activity into something a little more fun if you set up a few times to do this after enraged bosses started popping up.

It's also a nice way for people who maybe can't afford the best raider cards to get an edge.

Deadpool

Deadpool will be insanely priced. I'm not sure how high he will go, but I believe he'll be higher than any of the other reward cards. The reason for this is two things. The first is that he is a top notch speed card with a Relatively High Proc to pure attack. This is the card people stacking Spider-man have been waiting for. Second, come on, that art is hilarious and unique.

So, if you were going to push in a Raid Event this year...I'd recommend this one.

  1. Great help thanks. Do you want to let the inbox for your prizes get to the full 30 max before accepting them?

    1. I generally do it for the first 30 and stop after that. Just becomes too much work.

    1. I generally claim them all but that's because I'm not worried about optimizing as much as I am speed.

If you are low on PP/Optimization I would recommend claiming 5 at a time. After the first 30 are done though it becomes pointless because you'll already be in the tier.

  3. Would be great I'd we could somehow get a more though mathematical explanation about what's best todo. I have only been claiming 5 rewards everytime I hit the 30 reward mark. I jumped from lv 10 and lower bosses to lv 20-40 bosses then lv40-65 bosses where I am now on my three accounts. I am able to still kill theses but if I could keep it at this level and cash in my rewards could really use the shards and rewards they bring. Still no Vulcan and still haven't maxed processor 1 yet.

    1. Hmm...interesting. I would say it's best to spend money on PP and use that PP to rent Raider Cards from people if you know anybody who has them that are comfortable with you (and if you have collateral).

  5. When you claim multiple awards for defeating deadpool does that raise Deadpool's boss level or is it once you claim them from the present list itself? Also thank you very much for the website and other information. I finally feel like I have a clue of what I'm supposed to be doing thanks to you.

  6. It is frustrating, 5 PMM last raid raider cards (Black Bolt in this case) and still can't go nowhere.

Really need new raider cards and spend some serious dough in order to get somewhere on raids like these, it is very unfortunate. I miss the days when old raid cards were an 800% boost.

    1. Yup I hear you. My alliance had 5 UR Psylockes. Even with them, a level 250 raid boss costs you SIXTY-SIX RDS to take down! There is literally no way to play the current game and rank well without spending a ton of money.

    2. a) That can't possible be correct. It only took 90 rds bars to take down a lvl 250 with a deck of Sabers -- Psylocke had better stats and an almost double boost. Maybe you weren't using the Psylockes on Tactics day, like you should have been?

      b) Regardless: let's say it took 66. If you farmed rds bars at all successfully in the first 75% of the event, you should have had between 600 and 900 rds bars. I had about 675, and farmed very lazily; I had alliance mates approaching 1k. 66 rds per lvl 250 and 675 rds bars would have been 10 level 250 Weapon X's all by myself; or about 10.5 million raid points. Considering the points you'd have gained in the days leading up, you'd be well over 11 million raid points for nothing but doing a little farming and borrowing those Psylockes for an hour on Tactics day. Puts you easily in the top 2k finishers. What are you whining about? Do you know what the word 'literally' means?

  7. Can someone tell me if there is a website I can go to for the conversion between certain cards and Power packs?
