Sorry about Delays

Sorry about delays on posts. I wanted to have the Raid Info and my take on it before launch but I've been working on a project that requires a huge amount of my time. I plan on making some time this weekend to do an update on the event and the changes as well as.

I have yet to get time to update my best decks either. They haven't shifted a lot in SSR and only slightly in SR. Rares have probably been effected the most.

Finally, yes, I am just as annoyed as you all are at the shifts in the way events are operating. Just remember, everybody is in the same boat so if you can't get personal PP, neither can others.

Anyway, I'll have an event update post by Sunday.

  2. The equality of the changes isn't a bright side, as I see it, it's a problem. Just like the raid points negated the point of your stats in the event, the bars negate any effort you put in to spending packs carefully over the course of several events. Killing your ability to farm PP was just icing on the cake.

Also, the reward cards have tiny raider bonuses. IIRC, the bonus fused SR event reward cards get has shrunk from 1000% to 600% to Odin's 350%. Bucky and Maria are utterly pointless.

All this means that event success will be about one thing: payment. Can you afford the UCPs to get a legit raider card? Can you buy the power packs to make up for the ones you can't take away from this event?

I don't want to have to pay to win, but I'm getting locked out of progress for it.

    1. True, another thing to remember is that the fervor to pick up raider cards doesn't match up with prizes.
Base raider Caps were going for close to 300pp. For those prices, you could potentially get a UR Venom (the top prize during the last raid). All in an attempt to spend a couple hundred in RDS bars to get a Red Skull.
So in the end, maybe you bought a Cap (250pp we'll say) on top of another 150 (in mobacoin for RDS or in pp worth)to get a Red Skull which will be worth less than the value of the stuff you used to get him.

And on top of that, he'll be showing up in 4th of July packs soon enough. I'm coasting my way to a UR Winter Soldier and will enjoy myself.

    2. I have to ask. How do you "coast" to a UR? I put plenty of effort into events and never end up with better than the 2x SR level.

    3. Well, Winter soldier is 2x SSR. So he's coasting to an SSR which is very easy to do with either borrowed, rented, or purchased raider cards.

    4. Sean, I meant to say two ssr's (one I earn myself and one I get from alliance rating), eventually fusing them to UR. As Lucarda recommends, it's important to get yourself into a good alliance to ensure a good alliance reward. To top it off, many alliances co-op raid decks. So earning an SSR on your own becomes relatively easy.

  3. Hi I have a question regarding the latest event and their Raider Cards, Sorry if someone has asked this kind of question. (Probably wasn't looking hard enough) So my question is..

Does it matter if I max the level and mastery to fuse to get the bonus ATK upgdade? or I can just fuse them without maxing the level/mastery of the cards and get the ATK bonus?

    1. If you plan on using the raid card for the event then you should max-master it before fusing. If you don't plan on using it, then I would assume it's a low card like Maria Hill or something. Maybe you can sell a couple for pp (shrug).

    2. The multiplier is based on the stats of the card so maxing it does help the overall damage. If you're short on silver though I wouldn't worry too much about the loss in stats. Lets be honest, these cards are throwaway after the event anyway.
