Assault Cards Training Two

Well, it appears that Marvel will change the cards used as Assault cards for each Shield Training. This is interesting versus Rage of Bahamut having dedicated cards. This method puts players in a position to spend more money since which cards are Event Cards fluctuate.

For this event the Assault cards are:

Hell Bike Ghost Rider: 1000% Boost base, 2500% Boost when fused.

Marvel War of Heroes hell bike Ghost Rider

Red Hulk: 500% Boost base, 1200% Boost when fused.

Marvel war of Heroes Red Hulk

Wrecker: 200% Boost base, 600% Boost when fused.

Marvel War of heroes Wrecker

Slasher Sabertooth: 300% Boost base, 1000% Boost when fused.

Marvel War of Heroes Slasher Sabretooth

Chaos Magic Scarlet Witch: 250% Boost base, 700% Boost when fused.

Marvel War of Heroes Chaos Magic Scarlet Witch

No matter what people say. You need to take down the walls and these cards help you do it. Taking down a wall will give you double the points when defeating players than if the wall were still up. Because of this it virtually always makes sense to take down the wall.

  1. That sort of stinks. I will stop trying to buff the old assault cards. I'll still keep Maria around for defense and to sell to newer players.

    1. It does. I had been wondering if this was how they were going to work it for a while. I hoped that they wouldn't but knew it was the most lucrative option.

  2. Lucarda, in your opinion, since these will cycle out so quickly, if you have, say, 2 Chaos Scarlet Witch, is it best to just immediately fuse and then boost her, since she's only really good for such a short time frame? Rather than waste resources on a card you will be using for four days and then never again?

    1. I would master them then fuse them to get a little bit better bump. Mastery should only take two days top with rares. Need to find a rival that is higher in level than you that has a lower defense and pop +5 everytime when fighting them. That is what I do.

    2. Mastering is what I wouldn't do. We're in Shield battle. Leveling mastery costs Attack points.

If you only plan on using scarlet witch as a wall buster, then I would fuse then level. If you plan on using her in your deck eventually, don't ruin her.

      Those are my thoughts.

    3. Ah. I'll fuse then level her. This game keeps handing me main-deckable bruisers so I was going to go that way (S Rare Thors and S Rare Things, Rare Things, and more).

  3. Lucarda,

Does the new Juggaurant has any boost in the new training session? It would be weird that Sabertooth and Scarlet witch has it but not the higher rewards from the raid.

    1. It does not. The highest rewards I don't believe will have boosts very often. The idea of giving a lower level card a boost is to help lower level alliances bridge the gap. If you're a top 10, then you don't need the help, but the guys at 1000 need the help.

I prefer the lower level cards give the buffs. On top of this by having lower rarity/level cards give the buff, it leaves room for them to have card packs selling the higher level cards with the buffs.

  4. Note:

The new wall breaker cards are broken currently. If you boost them, they will go to 0 ATK/0 Def. My recommendation is to simply fuse at this point, and wait till they fix this. If the past is any indication, your cards will get maxed and mastered by CyGames/Mobage automatically as compensation for the bug.

    1. Do you mean if you MAX boosting them atk/def will be 0? Because I just tried boosting and it worked as intended.

Or do you mean fusing them will render atk/def 0?

    2. Yeah, I just heard about this glitch on Line. Kind of sucks.

    3. Lucarda,

will you be doing a piece on the various outside-app communication methods like LINE or KIK?

This must be old hat for many ROB players but others (such as myself) are new to this type of game and are just finding out about LINE/trying to convert my Alliance.

    4. Kik? Really? Isn't Kik just used by pedophiles?

Line and Palingro. For the highest level orders Teamspeak and Ventrilo is actually used as well during Shield Trainings (Hardcore bastards).

The entire playerbase of Marvel is shifting to Line as the most common method so I recommend it. Line is what I would recommend since most people in both games use it and it's easy to set up groups devoted to inter-guild trades. It's not a bad idea for a post and I think I will make one with the pros/cons.

      Thanks for the recommendation

    5. Cool beans. A few of my allies and me started using it. Someone pointed out a Defense Leader that had only one card in their deck (and 200 D pts).

Our opponents did the usual final three minute push to snake the win but thanks to our handy LINE chat we totally stole the victory because we concentrated on the weak link.

  5. I'll try boosting again, but multiple users are having the same issue I am, where any boost causes the ATK/DEF to go to 0/0.

  6. Yep, still not working for me. Every time I boost it kills the card (in one case, I boosted a card that was already at 0/0, a Wrecker+, and it stayed at 0/0).

    1. Ok then it's just the new ones from card pack...

I thought you were talking about sabertooth. Good thing I didn't just fuse them on the spot :)

    2. I just found out about it in Line from somebody who had the new Ghostrider having issues.

Guess Sabers are the breaker of choice atm.

  7. Sorry, forgot to make it clear that it was only the card wall breakers that were broken.

  8. Anyone else been having trouble logging in today? Keeps telling me network error. Won't even go past the initial connecting screen.

  9. looks like we dont get as much valor from breaking walls as before. seems equivalent to attacking players. so i would highly recommend building walls. seems to make a big difference frm experience so far

    1. It was never a big enough amount not to justify building walls.

  10. does it matter if you boost with the same suite....like boost tactics with tactics vs with brusier (wolvie)?

    1. It matters when leveling slightly. I normally say it's not a big enough boost to worry about unless you're trying to save ever single silver you can.

It doesn't matter for skill boosting though.
