Marvel Perfect Fusions

So you don't want to spend the silver to do a perfect fusion? You're probably wrong. The only reason it's probably is because to a certain extent, fusing rares perfectly doesn't really have a point since they are such a low value to begin with.

What is a perfect fusion? 

A perfect fusion occurs when a player fully boosts and maxes the mastery of a card before fusing it with another of the same type that is also fully boosted and mastered. In Marvel War of Heroes Perfect fusions are necessary to hold the value of a card. Realistically, if cards haven't been mastered before fusion, the stat difference is negligible. The price difference of the cards on the other hand is substantial. This is partially because players have a perceived value of cards and perfection is so easy to attain that anything less is unacceptable.

Imperfect fusion is accomplished when one or both cards are not maxed in level or maxed in mastery. If the condition of both cards max level, both cards max mastery isn't met, this is considered imperfect.

Not maxing mastery

In Marvel War of Heroes not maxing mastery causes a mild decrease in price, if the player even notices. The stat difference tends to be so slim that most players won't pick up on if a card was or wasn't mastered properly. If a player does notice you can expect the player to either become completely disinterested in the card, or wanting a significant price drop, you can expect 10% or more in price drop.

Not maxing levels

This is the most awful mistake a person can make with a card. This is a way to completely ruin a card in most cases. For example, I don't care what the price is in most cases, I will not buy a card that has not been boosted to its highest level before fusing. The reason for this is boosting a card to max level will yield 10% of its stats carried over to its final forms, even one level less than max will reduce it to 5% of its stats carried over to its final form. These cards just aren't worth the decrease in stats. 

When to do/not do a perfect evolution

If you aren't doing perfect evolution I'm hoping you're dealing with something in the rare quality or lower. Anything in the SR, SSR, UR quality should always be a perfect fusion. In the rare quality I also often advise a perfect fusion since it will result in a much more powerful fusion and allow you to use the card longer.

Moral of the story

Fuse your cards perfectly if they are SR or higher. Anything less than perfection will lose a lot of potential buyers and lose a significant portion of price. Personally I'm sick of people trying to trade me imperfectly fused cards, because once it's imperfectly fused, it's garbage in my eyes.

  1. What was the best way to Perfect Fuse the Black Widow Cards? I Fused 2 fully fused/maxed Rare Black Widows, then maxed it out and fused it with another fully fused/maxed Rare Black Widow. Then I maxed it out again and fused it again with another fully fused/maxed Rare Black Widow and my final result was ATK 6198 DEF 5923, but I have seen other versions of the card with higher stats.

    1. There is a perfect evolution where you use 8 cards. This evolution results in 100% of stats if you maxed mastery each time along the way.

      It looks like this:

      1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

      2 2 2 2

      3 3

      4

      This involves using 8 cards to start. You fuse them into 4 SR, fuse them into 2 SSR, and fuse them into the final UR. You max every card during every stage along the way. This is how you attain 100% along the way, you also need to mastery every card at each stage too.

  3. What is the fastest path to perfect fusion? Currently farming Wolverines and Iron Man cards from 2-3 and 2-4, depending on the base card, fusing 2 quickly and then boosting them to level 6-7 with 10 commons. Once I get 10 fused/boosted Uncommon+ cards I'm feeding them into the base card for ~ 25-30 levels. But to be honest, I'm getting kinda burned out on the grind. I'm spending all my time between events boosting my assault cards and all my other cards are just sitting there, taunting me. I have about 2mil in silver - is there a fast path that might cost more, but won't take nearly as much time?

    1. Why are you boosting cards before using them to boost? You're not actually saving much silver by doing that and it's taking a lot more time.

      The only way to speed it up is to just use every card to fuse. It's rapid but costs a lot of silver. That's what I do.

  4. So fuse every feeder card you have and then boost the base card with them? The only reason I'm boosting the fused uncommons is because another forum (which I know you dislike) suggested that method as the most efficient. While it saves silver, it costs time - lots of time. I appreciate your feedback!

    1. It does save in silver, but the amount of silver you save using that method is so small because it doesn't account for the silver you spend enhancing the fused uncommons to level 5-6.

      Silver isn't an issue for me anymore, but when it was, I sold every non uncommon feeder for silver, fused my uncommon wolverines into rares, and used them to enhance. I had no silver issues doing that so I don't see the reason to use that other method.

      The fastest way to enhance will always be to just click, select all, enhance. It just costs about double.

  5. I boosted two cards' mastery and levels. But it still says I will lose everything, if I boost it!:( Do I have to max out the ability levels, too?
    If this is the case, I have already lost. I maxed out a different card, and used only cards with abilities to boost it further, it did absolutely nothing, and I wasted those all those cards. I must not be getting something!!:P Help!

  7. Based on all the advice I'm finding online so far(multiple sites and sources including yours), it looks like I'd do best on my fusing/boosting by following these steps:

    1. Fuse Common cards to Common+
    2. Fuse Uncommon cards to Rare+
    3. Use Common+ cards to boost Rare+ cards
    4. Use Rare+ cards to boost Rare and higher cards
    5. Use Rare+ cards (w/abilities) to boost maxed Rare and higher cards

    For this sequence, we are assuming it is more cost effective at this point to fuse lower cards before boosting due to card levels (example from www.gamefaqs.com/boards/687220-marvel-war-of-heroes/66050686 - Post by CryptoFacto Posted 4/26/2013 1:09:28 AM)
